Biathlon Canada Precision Shooting Competition

It’s on again – time to see how well you can shoot compared to the rest of the country.

A few interesting tidbits:

In 2013, Telemark had 14 “podium” finishes, 19 in 2014 and 19 again last season.  Outstanding!

Last season, Colton and Makenna won the overall contest in their categories, and Tekarra and Rory placed second overall.

Top score by a Telemark biathlete in the past three years:

  • 20 prone, 20 standing: 309/400 (Jennah)
  • 20 prone without rest: 176 (Hudson)
  • 20 prone with rest: 182 (both Makenna and Rory)

Let’s see if we can improve upon those excellent scores!

The categories are the same as last season: Seniors and older – 20 prone, 20 standing.  Juniors and younger – 20 prone with rests.

We’ll run the competition on the third Sunday of every month – except this month due to the long weekend, we’ll be running it on Monday May 23.  Contact Andrew if you need more details.
