Back by popular demand again this season – Biathlon Demonstration Day, followed by a Public Race! Anyone can try out biathlon, then try their hand in a real race at the Telemark Nordic Club biathlon facility (you do not have to race in order to do the demo).
Demonstration Day: 1230 – 1340. You will get expert training from our coaches and be allowed to shoot 2 full clips (10 shots) on regulation biathlon targets.
Public Race: 1400 start time. Must complete the Demo in order to race unless you already have a Biathlon Canada membership.You can race on skate or classic skis (skate skis preferred).
For the Public Race, you can choose from three distances: 1.9 km, 2.4 km, 4.5 km.
Introductory and Competitive Classes (competitive class must have Biathlon Canada membership and bring own rifle and ammo).
Demonstration Fees
$10 for the demo, extra clips $5 each.
Race Fees
$25 for non-Biathlon Canada members (includes demo)
$20 for Biathlon Canada members (can have demo or practice time)
$10 for Telemark Biathlon Bears, Development, Advanced and Adult registrants (can practice during demo time)
