Introduction to Competition Evaluation

Coaches that have current training in IC 1 and 2 that require evaluations have the opportunity to have them completed from November 17-21.  Please contact Alex Dumond to arrange a day and time during the week (daytime and evening slots are available).  You will require a biathlete to demonstrate your coaching skill during the evaluation.  If you are coming from out of town, please let us know that you need a biathlete so arrangements can be made.

 Fees and Registration

  •  The fee for the IC1 and IC2 courses are $165/participant/course. All participants must be members of Biathlon Canada and BC for the 2014/15 season.
  •  Course registration MUST be completed on-line – click here to complete
  • The course fees do not include accommodations and meals which are the responsibility of each participant. In order to become fully certified, you must eventually be evaluated by an approved Course Evaluator. The cost for evaluation is $150.
  • Workbooks are required for the courses. If you don’t already have the workbook set, you can purchase them for $230.

We are applying for a BiBC grant to help with the course costs – if we get a grant, we’ll prorate the amount and provide a refund accordingly.
