Biathletes Timur McNern and Enzo Fershau have completed their first day of competitions with Timur hauling in a Silver Medal and Enzo scoring an 8th place in a tough distance race that included some technical glitches, which further challenged all competitors. John McNern and Rob Fershau are guiding the boys through these experiences and all send news that they are thoroughly enjoying being immersed in the international environment and already have collected many memories of a lifetime. A Telemark Cross Country skier, Sofie Steinruck, also medaled on 8 January with a Bronze medal in the Classic distance race. Racing continues through the week.
