Wild and Exciting Weekend of Biathlon Racing for Athletes, Teams and Spectators at BC Cup #5

The range and stadium are much quieter today as the racing action finished up on Sunday afternoon, 3 March with the final awards ceremony. One hundred athletes from across BC and Washington State gave it their all throughout the weekend, accompanied every step of the way by their coaches, parents, race volunteers and spectators. Scenes from the finish area Collapse Zone tell the story of determination and intense effort by all competitors. Inspiring!

In the Start Pen. Ready to Race – coiled springs.

Telemark Nordic Club thanks the numerous volunteers from our Club, the local community and from other participating clubs. Your efforts and support are appreciated so much! You Rock!

It takes a sea of volunteers on the range, penalty loop, trails, start and finish lines. Thanks!

Looking forward, there are many exciting things yet to come as we begin the final sprint towards Nationals, March 26-31 at Whistler.

Big smiles from Kira and Natalie – both are heading for Nationals. It has been an amazing season for all of our Biathlon athletes
